Happy Easter

Today is Easter for anyone who follows the Orthodox religion. Even though I’m away from home and I miss dressing up my cats as Easter bunnies, living in Holland is like an Easter paradise. Not only can I get Belgian chocolate, but there are baby sheep living outside my window.

I can’t resist photographing these adorable little munchkins. They live in the field next to the space boxes and sometimes in the morning I can even hear them.

I’m wearing a sea foam green lace dress from Forever XXI, polka dot tights from H&M and nude and black oxfords from Clarks, which were purchased in Paris.

The sheep are the perfect Easter pets, here’s a video I made of the lambs.

I decorated my nails in Spring colours and I have been collecting easter eggs all over.

I started collecting decorated eggs when I was in Budapest. I loved the painted designs on the fragile eggs, and couldn’t resist this pink one with a kitty that looks like Stella.

In Vienna, at the palace, there was a cute easter market that even had egg chairs!

I ended up buying the purple damask pattern pictured above and added them to my tree.

This is my little Easter tree on my windowsill. I made this makeshift easter tree by filling my watering can with water, taking some branches from outside and taping them to the sides of the can to make sure they don’t move around. The branches are thriving in my sunny window, and the leaves get bigger each day.

The Easter market in Prague.

These eggs were from a market in Munich near Marienplatz. I loved the designs.

These straw bunnies were so cute for a garden or porch.

I loved the three-dimensional detail on these eggs as well.

I ended up buying this one in Munich, that featured an overlay of a knitted sheep! Each one I have is a work of art, and I’d love to have more. The sheep is my favourite because I fall in love with my new neighbours more and more each day.

Motherly love.

I fell in love with this pale pastel dress when I saw it in Vienna. It’s the perfect easter dress and I love the lace overlay on the bustline.

I also have ducklings in my backyard. Peep! Happy Easter to anyone celebrating it today.
