Hermès Grand Apparat Look

So a couple weeks ago, I ordered my first Hermès scarf! I was so excited to wear it, I created a look that was inspired by the classic patterns and colours within this gorgeous design by Jacques Eudel.

The scenery at the University of Toronto suited my look perfectly.  The ivy, old brick buildings, gothic windows and copper roofs echo the preppy collegiate aesthetic I was after.

My skirt is from Forever XXI, my shoes are from a department store in the states and my scarf was from Beyond the Rack. Here’s a little video with this look in action:

Voting for the New York Fashion Week contest closes Friday, so please vote for me! Thank you to all of you who have already supported me, I feel so blessed to have such an amazing group of people that stand behind my work.

As we were walking by, This gorgeous Vespa screamed my name!  I had to take a photo with it, the pistachio colour complimented my outfit perfectly. I could easily see myself riding along the streets with my hair shielded from the wind by my new scarf…

To compliment my Hermes scarf and add some punch into the colour palette, I accessorized with this “Illusion Birkin” from Town Shoes. My gold watch is from Guess, and the gold bracelet is a vintage piece from Italy. I’ve been experimenting with layering bracelets and bangles with my watch, but I still haven’t quite gotten the hang of it. If you have any tips be sure to comment below!

I’m also wearing a Cinderella carriage necklace to compliment the horse motif of the scarf. Luckily my Prince Charming was there to snap these pictures!
