Kate Spade for Keds Fall 2014

I always look forward to summer, thanks to comfy footwear. A brand that’s always been part of my closet is Keds, and I jumped at the chance to feature them here! For a few seasons, the classic American brand has partnered up with another brand I can’t get enough of, Kate Spade. This will be the second season that the Kate Spade for Keds collection will be available in Canada, at Town Shoes. The Kate Spade for Keds Fall 2014 collection is full of cute prints, and I fell in love with the casual grey and green stripes which work for summer and can easily transition into fall.

I’m wearing a vintage cotton dress (similar here), Kate Spade for Keds sneakers in Cyber Stripe available at Town Shoes, a mint straw fedora, OUI NON dainty gold necklaces from Forever 21, a bow bracelet, Alex & Ani bangles, and stacking rings from Forever 21.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been going on bike rides every evening through my neighbourhood. This light cotton dress is long enough to still bike, but still very cute! My Kate Spade for Keds sneakers are also the perfect shoe for a bike ride on my grandmother’s old bike. This pair of Kate Spade for Keds sneakers inspired my look. The classic shape of the sneaker inspired me to wear this vintage cotton sundress, and I tried to keep everything within that summery green colour scheme.

I love the attention to detail with this collaboration. The brass grommets and matching metal tipped laces and metal Kate Spade logo detail elevate a pair of classic sneakers. I also love the splash of colour in the green stripe running along the sole!
