Little black summer dress

When I go to the cottage, I’m always looking for a comfortable, stylish outfit to wear for the drive up and for lounging about. I couldn’t believe I found a little black summer dress that fits the bill perfectly. It’s cotton, so it keeps me cool, while the swing shape is comfortable and non-conforming.

In the summer, I’m always trying to shield my face from the sun, and these folding wayfarer sunglasses are a classic that are compact and easy to stash away in my car or in my overnight bag. My straw fedora also provides extra shade and adds a cool boho vibe to this look.

When I’m driving up to the cottage, I prefer wearing comfortable sneakers. These Keds shoes are cool for the summer heat, but also more practical than flip flops. As I sit here at work on a Monday morning, I’m already dreaming of wearing a cool dress at the cottage again!
