New York Minute

The energy of New York City is always infectious. Sabina and I visited NY a couple weekends ago, and we had an amazing time, and fabulous weather (you can read all about our trip here)! I was also so excited to be able to finally wear sandals and a fun red Free People dress I picked up at the Nordstrom Warehouse sale.

I’m wearing a red Free People dress from Nordstrom, sandals from Vince Camuto, jewelry from Pandora and a mini Rubie bag from Mackage.

We took some photos outside our hotel, The Carnegie Hotel, and the iconic Carnegie Hall. We then walked along 7th Street to Times Square in the morning to take in the scene. I’d definitely suggest going earlier (before 11 a.m.) if you want to avoid swarms of people! We were able to pop into a couple shops and take pictures pretty easily.

This red Free People dress (similar dress here) is perfect for summer. I love how breezy it is, as well as the embroidery details. It can even be worn as a tunic over some skinny jeans or pants for a chic transitional look. I’ll be bringing it along with me to Spain, because it can also double as a chic beach coverup!
