Over the past couple years, I’ve become obsessed with sneakers! I have a few pairs from Adidas, but have been debating between getting a pair of Stan Smiths vs Superstars. I’ve found the PERFECT balance between each iconic sneaker – keep reading for my Adidas Neo Advantage Review.

I’m wearing a striped breton top, jeans from Zara (similar ripped jeans here), a waterfall trench coat, a Mackage mini Rubie bag and Adidas sneakers c/o DSW Canada.

These sneakers feature white leather, perforated details (like the Stan Smiths) and adorable rose gold stripes on the outside, like the Superstar. I love how these are streamlined like the Stan Smith sneakers, but feature the iconic three stripes. And rose gold to boot! This pair is also a steal from DSW Canada! Seriously, don’t miss out on this pair! They are practically¬†half the price of a pair of Stan Smith sneakers, and come in rose gold. Need I say more?… View Full Post

Even though the weather in Canada might not feel like spring, it’s officially here! Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the Clarins Spring 2017 collection, which includes skincare, makeup and a nifty 4-in-1 makeup pen straight out of your Spacemaker pencil box.

It’s currently -9C in Ottawa, and over the past few chilly weeks, I’ve completely fallen in love with the new Hydra-Essentiel line. Every other day, I use the Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream for Normal to Combination skin. This cream is incredibly lightweight but very refreshing. It works great overnight after cleansing the face, but is light enough to wear under makeup as well. I take a pea sized amount with a q-tip and spread it over my face and neck, and my skin feels plump and silky smooth. I’ve noticed that I no longer have flaky skin around my nose! This product is scented, however I find the scent to be gentle and very lovely!

About two times a week, I increase the moisture factor with the Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum. I put this on at night under the cream to really quench my dry winter skin. I don’t like to use this everyday, as I find it can be too much. A couple of times a week is perfect for me.

Winter just doesn’t give up, it’s easy to say we all have a case of March blues. This teal faux fur coat is the perfect cure for gloomy weather! I wore this piece back in Toronto for a chic, yet simple outfit. Layered over a little black dress, a teal faux fur coat adds some much-needed colour and warmth.

I wore a vintage teal faux fur coat (similar faux fur coat here), a black knit dress, a leather Kate Spade Belt, suede Myranda boots c/o La Canadienne (also available at Nordstrom here), and a classic Chanel double flap bag from Luxe Touch Designer Consignment.

This is the perfect going out outfit. While a little black dress is timeless, a colourful coat adds personality. Faux fur toppers are a huge trend right now, and the extended winter weather is the perfect excuse to get some use out of them! This coat is vintage (it’s from Le Chateau actually!) but there are many options available at budget retailers, in case you’re afraid of investing in the trend. I found a near perfect dupe from ASOS and it’s on sale!… View Full Post

I’m always looking to try different beauty brands to incorporate into my routine. I wanted to share this GOSH makeup review of some of their products from their Fall/Winter line. I love that GOSH is certified cruelty-free, and available at Shoppers Drug Mart. The quality is incredible, with strong pigmentation, and a blendable formulation. Here are some of my favourite GOSH makeup products, as well as a beauty look incorporating some of these items.

I also fell in LOVE with the 9 Shade palette, To be Cool in Cophenhagen. This palette is a matte shadow DREAM. Lately, matte eyeshadow palettes have been in the spotlight, but this affordable iteration contains all cool-tones that blend together for seamless, smoky looks. I love every single colour in this palette, and have been using it a lot. I like that you can create a cool, purpley taupe eye, as well as a muted beige eye, and a classic silver/grey smokey look too. It’s very versatile and I love that the pans are close together and full of product. This palette is very compact and slim for travel, and has a great mirror. I’ve been recommending it to a few friends that are a bit tired of warm matte shadows! Especially on cool-toned people, this one looks amazing, and compliments grey, blue, black and hazel eyes especially.… View Full Post
