Ripped camo jeans

This fall, ripped skinny jeans are a must-have item in your wardrobe. From ripped black skinnies to boyfriend jeans, my new favourites are these ripped camo jeans from The Free Island. Perfect under a long, slouchy merino wool sweater or a silk blouse for a night out, I paired these camouflage pants with a lace crop top layered under a khaki green wool topper for an unexpected fall outfit.

I’m wearing ripped camo jeans c/o The Free Island, DKNY khaki green wool coat, lace crop top c/o The Free Island, Emma Sunglasses from Urban Outfitters, double pearl earrings from Forever 21, BCBG suede booties and Alex and Ani bangles.

Now that fall is in full swing, I’m trying to get out of a rut of pairing plain jeans with sweaters. A pair of ripped camo jeans is an easy swap for regular denim, and are a great casual staple. This pair from The Free Island is super stretchy, and I love that they’re high-waisted enough to be worn with a crop top. The length is a bit short on me, but I find they look great cuffed with a pair of booties, or tucked into tall or mid-calf boots. The Free Island has tons of new arrivals, including unique sweaters and cozy coats! I also love that the e-shop is based in Toronto (hello, no duty fees!)

I’ve been wearing these double pearl earrings non-stop. A great find from Forever 21, they’re now sold out, but I’ve seen them pop up all over eBay and Etsy! I find they are a perfect twist on a classic, and look great with turtlenecks or a dress!

I also love wearing rich shades during the colder months, and lately, khaki and green is my fallback colour. I find that this DKNY coat is a more cheerful alternative to black, and goes with both brown and black accessories.

These ripped camo jeans are my favourite weekend outfit, and I can’t wait to wear them into the winter with slouchy turtleneck sweaters and boots!
