Spring blooms

Spring blooms

Every spring, I can’t wait to see blossoms on trees and flowers blooming in my garden. While my peonies in my backyard are about to flower, I’m counting down the days left! I’ve been wearing a lot of floral (cue Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada), the oversized floral print on this dress is visually stunning, especially in the feminine babydoll shape.

This dress has a beautiful print, offset on a dark background, and I love the sweetheart neckline, complete with comfortable stretchy straps. My only wish was that this dress was a bit longer. I’m a bit tall, but there’s no way I could dream of wearing it with heels. I wore this dress with shorts underneath, but I’m thinking of adding a layer of tulle or lace to lengthen it by a couple inches.

My shoes by Chinese Laundry are comfortable and cute, but I love how the studs make them a bit edgier. The t-strap shape is really great for securing my foot in as I walk, and it adds some interest to a classic black ballerina flat.
