Black and yellow. Lace and polka dots. Bumblebees and dandelions. Pairings that make me happy and remind me of summertime. My yellow lace dress is from H&M, as are my polka dot sheer stockings. My collar is from H&M. Damnit. I don’t like dressing in head-to-toe H&M, but I’m an exchange student on a budget! My ring was picked up at a pop-up shop in the 9 Streets of Amsterdam. It features a real marble stone and was made by a design student, obviously imitating the classic Arty Ovale from Yves Saint Laurent.
This look was inspired by the emerging colours of Spring. Who knew that while I was in Berlin, I found a tiny shopping mall and courtyard to match my outfit! This little courtyard is called the Rosenhöfe, near Hackesher Markt. I’m wearing a blazer from H&M. I love the rose colour and it goes with everything, that I’m wearing it as a Spring jacket! My grey lace dress is from Forever XXI and my booties are from Amsterdam. It’s so funny how my outfit matched the shopping place to a tee! I fell in love with the rose-painted stucco, and turquoise iron art deco details on the staircase, railings and awnings. It was a beautiful little square to enjoy a coffee or shop at H&M or MAC… as well as a couple other cute boutiques. Spring is definitely sprouting in Europe.
