Victoria Day Bike Ride

Victoria Day Bike Ride

Yesterday, I enjoyed the statutory holiday by going for a bike ride. I wanted to catch fireworks at Ashbridge’s Bay, but glad I didn’t as a thunderstorm rolled into the city right as the fireworks would have started. I was glad I went on a bike ride with my boyfriend, as we rolled by, we were treated to the sweet smell of crab trees blossoming. I decided to stop here to take a photo, if only the camera could have captured the way petals fell down and danced in the wind.

Shorts or pants are a must and with the steamy temperatures yesterday, I decided to pull together a look inspired by music festivals. I’m wearing comfy cotton snakeskin print shorts, a blue fringe top, both from H&M, pink and silver leather Sperry top-siders, and a purple ombre fedora from Target.
