Last night, angels walked down the glittery runway, their perfectly toned bodies outfitted in lace, sequins and feathers. Once all the fashion weeks are over, one of the biggest fashion shows takes stage – the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show!
It used to be televised live B.J.J. (Before Janet Jackson)… but in a world where a nip-slip from Nancy Grace causes headlines, they couldn’t take a risk on accidentally broadcasting the breasts of gorgeous women live!
Here are some of my favourite looks of the evening.
Miranda Kerr returned to the runway mere months after giving birth. She had the honour of wearing the million dollar bra, and I love this mermaid, pearl encrusted outfit. It reminded me of the sirens seen on Chanel’s Spring 2012 show.
Karlie Kloss made her debut of the VS runway last night.
I liked this bejeweled carnival ensemble. The colours are very rich and remind me of a vintage Bulgari necklace.
This was one of my favourite looks of the show, again worn by the beautiful Kerr. I like this look reminds me of a dress by Alexander McQueen. I love the red satin sash and the feathers and tulle add a touch of theatrics. I like that her shoes are elegant red satin pumps instead of garish, sequined platforms!
Adriana Lima vamped it up in this midnight blue corset merry widow. I’ve seen the piece in the store, and I love it even more on the model. I also own those vertically striped stay-up stockings which are gorgeous in both the boudoir, and the real world.
Adam Levine of Maroon 5 sneaked in a smooch with his supermodel girlfriend of two years, Anne Viyalitsyna.
The gorgeous Candace Swanepoel walked down the runway in a blue swan get up as Kanye West’s ballerinas danced around her. I don’t understand the red shoes with the combo, but I think the feathered tutu is cute.
Dutch model Doutzen Kroes looked like a gorgeous Senorita in this red and black look. Those shoes are to die for!
This look modeled by Constance Jablonski is so high fashion. I wish I saw more looks like this from the VS Show.
This is one sexy party you don’t want to miss when it’s broadcast on November 29.
