Springtime in Utrecht

This look was inspired by grey spring days in the Netherlands.

I’m wearing a grey lace dress from H&M, a rose printed trench coat from TopShop, boots from Cafe Moda and a crochet satchel from six accessories.

I adore this coat to bits. When I was in Amsterdam, a businesswoman in head to toe Prada came up to me from across the road, stopped me and asked me where it was from. While TopShop wasn’t the best answer for her, I was so flattered that my favourite piece of outerwear caught her eye when she was impeccably dressed. From the rose pickups to the soft, vintage print, I love this coat to bits!

I love dresses with high necklines because I can easily accessorize by layering on statement necklaces, like this grey and purple piece from Steps in Utrecht.

Sometimes I take for granted how beautiful my neighbourhood can be. This little trail is full of nature, beautiful canals and wildlife.

I love pairing a minidress with a pair of booties. Since the weather is so unpredictable, booties keep you dry and you can still show off some leg.

This bag is perfection! Perfect for summer and it reminds me of a handbag collection from Dolce & Gabbana. I love the buckles, postman’s lock and of course, the crochet texture. The colours go with everything too!

Spring is blooming, but winter’s play with texture can stay. Lace, crochet, leather, and gabardine… a perfect mix like an English or Dutch garden.
